What is collected
This site has no accounts, no registration, no comments and no newsletter. Nothing is collected from you directly. The only data gathered is aggregate traffic measurement through Google Analytics 4, and anything you choose to put in an email you send.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 records page views, approximate location at country or region level, device type, browser, and the referring source. That data is processed by Google LLC and is used to understand which pages are read and which are ignored. It is not used to build a profile of you, is not sold, and is not shared with the advertising networks discussed on the main guide.
Analytics can be blocked entirely with a browser extension, a tracking-blocking browser, or Google's own opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you block it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish repeat visits. No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or social tracking scripts are placed by this site. Browser settings can block or clear these cookies at any time.
Outbound links
Links to advertising networks may carry campaign parameters that tell the destination which page sent you. Once you land on another company's site, that company's privacy policy applies, not this one, and its data practices are outside this site's control. Which links are commissioned is set out in the affiliate disclosure.
Hosting and logs
The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and availability purposes. These logs are not used for editorial or commercial analysis, and they play no part in the work described in the review methodology.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable laws elsewhere, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you. In practice this site holds no personal data beyond the contents of emails you have sent, and any such email can be deleted on request. Write to [email protected] or use the contact page.
Children
This site is intended for adults working in advertising and is not directed at anyone under 18. No data is knowingly collected from minors. The full age condition is in the terms.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version replaces this one on this page and the update date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list. Corrections to this page are handled the same way as any other, under the editorial policy.
