Editorial policy

What commercial relationships are allowed to influence, what they are not, and what happens when something published here turns out to be wrong.

Independence from advertisers

No network can buy a position, a rating or a mention on this site. No network reviews copy before publication. No network is given the right to remove criticism, and drawbacks are published for the platforms this site links to as readily as for the ones it does not.

Affiliate commissions do exist and are described in the affiliate disclosure. The ordering of any comparison is decided by the documented criteria in the review methodology and by nothing else.

Sourcing

Claims are attributed. Vendor conditions cite the vendor page and the date it was read; legal claims cite the statute, the regulator or the court opinion; measurement claims cite the study together with its sample size and period. Where a figure could not be traced to a source of that kind, it is either labelled third-party or left out.

Quotations from other publications are kept short and attributed. Article structures are not reproduced, and summaries are written from the underlying facts rather than paraphrased from someone else's paragraph order.

Corrections

Errors get fixed on the page where they appeared, not quietly in a newsletter. The rules are simple:

  • A factual error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, and the page's update date changes with it.
  • A figure that has become outdated is updated in place, since every number on this site carries a verification date rather than a claim of permanence.
  • A correction that changes the meaning of a recommendation is stated in the text, not buried.
  • Reports of errors are welcome from anyone, including the networks discussed. Send them through the contact page.

Use of AI tools

Drafting and research assistance may involve AI tools. Facts are not. Every figure published here is checked by a person against the source it is attributed to, and nothing reaches the site on the strength of a model's recall. Where a tool produced a claim that could not be traced to a real source, that claim was removed rather than softened.

Adult content and age

This site covers advertising inside the adult industry. It publishes no sexually explicit material, no imagery of performers, and nothing intended for anyone under 18. It links to advertising networks whose inventory is adult, and it treats age-assurance law as a compliance cost for advertisers rather than an inconvenience to work around. Conditions of use are in the terms.

What this site will not publish

  • Sponsored reviews presented as editorial work.
  • Invented campaign results, screenshots of tests that were never run, or personal measurements that did not happen.
  • Rankings whose order was agreed with a commercial partner.
  • Traffic vendors whose product is bot-generated sessions, except to explain why the arithmetic does not work.

Editorial responsibility sits with Christoph Trappe. Background on the publication is on the about page.
